Zink
In the pure state zinc is plastic silver-white metal. At an ambient temperature it is fragile. Zinc is used for protection of steel against corrosion. It is applied as a material for a negative electrode in chemical sources in batteries and accumulators, for soldering of metals, for front-wall works. Last years the basis of system zinc-air are intensively developed for accumulators for computers (notebooks)
Anode
Zink stripes. Advantages: flexibility, ease of handling, stability, shape, durability. Application: construction; electronics.
Zinc casting alloys
Advantages: have a good yield, are cast well, easily handled. Application: automobile industry, casting of parts, fittings.
